Welcome to the Famous Shoulder, a 300 year old local country pub set within the northeast Derbyshire countryside near to Chesterfield. With our own rooms and informal restaurant and bar, the Famous Shoulder provides the perfect getaway for hikes and trips into the Peak District and Sherwood Forest. Only 10 minutes from Junction 29 of the M1, we also make a great choice for a quality pub lunch if passing through.

We serve simple menus, but pride ourselves on the highest quality of ingredients, all produced locally. We always have five local cask ales on tap and a comprehensive wine list with a carefully selected choice imported to suit our foods.
